Members

Membership for the Traverse Angels is by invitation only and is extended to individuals who share the organization’s vision and are willing to actively contribute to the investment process.  Traverse Angels members:

• Are Accredited Investors as defined within the SEC rules (Refer to Appendix: Glossary of Terms and the Accredited Investor Suitability Agreement.);
• Have track records in managing and building successful companies, either as entrepreneurs or operating executives and/or have been influential executives in public companies or mid-size private companies, and/or have a proven track record of investing in early-stage companies;
• Form an extensive peer network of domain expertise and contacts for subsequent funding and talent;
• Have some prior investment experience in start-up companies, or have extensive business development, licensing or M&A experience in corporate positions;
• Devote significant time and effort to Traverse Angels activities, including screening, due diligence and investment meetings;
• Agree to participate in at least two Traverse Angels investments per year;
• Have a strong interest in educating and advising entrepreneurs on running their companies; and
• Have a strong Interest in regional economic development
